A few of the details about the Bruce Webster stay started to emerge today.� Counsel for Webster moved to join the lethal injection suit currently before the federal District Court for the District of Columbia in Roane, et. al. v. Gonzalez, et. al.�� A stay had already been entered in Roane for three other federal death row inmates. A stay appears to have been a done deal even if DoJ opposed the stay; Webster’s counsel apparently talked� with opposing counsel and the Government simply consented to what the district court would have likely ordered anyway.
